Hi.
I'm Dan. I’ve been a creative and art director for nearly 12 years now.
I thrive on visual story telling, discovering real insights and developing great creative strategies. I’ve worked on everything from DMs, EDMs, CRMs, TVCs, OOH, ambient, press, print, digital, social, developed innovative products/services and campaigns which combine all of these.
Since 2017 I’ve been a Creative Director/Lecturer at the AUT Ad School, where I’ve been teaching Advertising Creativity and Art Direction. Prior to this I was based in London for almost 5 years. I’ve worked at agencies including OgilvyOne, M&C Saatchi, Wunderman, Proximity, and been recognised in awards such as D&AD, Caples and AXIS awards.
I enjoy mentoring younger creatives to develop concepts, as well as working in an larger team with designers, illustrators, photographers and directors. I’m currently based in Auckland and available for freelance projects.
